Last Saturday 40 members gathered at the beautiful Falls of Feugh Restaurant in Banchory for a lunch with Andrew Bowie MP to celebrate 50 years since Margaret Thatcher became leader of the Conservative Party. Following the delicious lunch Andrew spoke about the enduring legacy left by Mrs Thatcher, her measured approach to policy making and how we can encapsulate her best qualities for the Party to appeal to the British electorate.
It was great to see our local MP Andrew Bowie and local MSP Alexander Burnett attend the celebration lunch as well as some of the Councillors in West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine. Cllr Craig Miller, Cllr Tracey Smith, Cllr Alan Turner and Cllr George Carr.
