Local Scottish Conservative members have selected Fraserburgh & District Cllr James Adams for next year's Scottish Parliament election in Banffshire and Buchan Coast.
As suggested by the name, this seat contains all the large fishing ports of the North East, Peterhead, Buckie, Fraserburgh, Banff and Macduff. Born and bred in Fraserburgh in the dead centre of the constituency, James understands local issues and will be able to represent them in the Scottish Parliament if elected.
Elect Cllr James Adams as your man in Holyrood.
Cllr Adams said:
"I'm looking forward to getting out and starting campaigning. It'll be a straight fight between myself and the SNP's Karen Adam who is standing for re-election.
The SNP have let Scotland's fishing communities down, and they still want to take us back into the Common Fisheries Policy. We can do better than this. I will be your local champion, standing up for you and being heard on the key issues; fishing, roads, education, and health.
I will see you on the campaign trail!"
