Gordon and Buchan is one of the three branches within the Aberdeenshire Association. The Gordon and Buchan branch mirrors that of the Gordon and Buchan Westminster constituency, and follows the same boundary.
Within the Gordon and Buchan branch, there are two Holyrood constituencies that cover Gordon and Buchan:
- Aberdeenshire East
- Aberdeenshire West
There are eight council wards within Gordon and Buchan, with four of the wards being fully within the constituency, and four only partially being within the constituency. They are:
- Central Buchan (part - shared with Aberdeenshire North and Moray East)
- East Garioch (part - shared with West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine)
- Ellon and District (full)
- Huntly, Strathbogie and Howe of Alford (part - shared with West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine)
- Inverurie and District (full)
- Mid Formartine (full)
- Turriff and District (full)
- West Garioch (shared with West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine)
The Gordon and Buchan branch holds three main events each year, from a curry and quiz night in the early spring, to a Hog Roast in the summer, and a Christmas dinner during the winter. The branch also holds other fundraising and member events throughout the year.
